| I'm sad to report the passing of poet Gil Scott-Heron. A friend and I went to see him perform at SOB's (Sounds of Brazil) in NYC a year or two ago. She had had no exposure to his work and came away wowed. It was a thrill for me to finally see him live having been a Fan since the 70s. He was in fine form.
