Gordon Parks: A Harlem Family 1967 honors the legacy and the work of late iconic artist and photojournalist Gordon Parks, who would have turned 100 on November 30, 2012. The tour will have something for everyone: adults, families and kids of all ages are welcome! 2pm: Hands On: Flowers for Mother's Day What does family mean to you? Take a look at the photographs in Gordon Parks: Harlem Family 1967 then come to the workshop to make a creative arrangement of flowers and vase with a variety of art materials in honor of Mother's Day. Little fingers will become paintbrushes as children explore color, line, and space with finger paint. RSVP required. Saturday, May 18, 2013 AAMD Art Museum Day The Association of Art Museum Directors (AAMD) is hosting its fourth annual Art Museum Day on Saturday, May 18. This year, the Studio Museum, along with a number of local, national and international museums, will offer free admission!
