ccc 2015 BCA Arts Fund Grant Application for Local Artists & Arts Organizations available Aug 25 ccc cccccccc ccc Download August issue of Grants News ccc Bronx Council on the Arts 2015 BCA Arts Fund Grant for Local Artists and Arts Organizations Applications Available: Monday, August 25, 2014 BCA Arts Fund provides financial assistance to Individual artists and small nonprofit organizations that develop high quality arts projects and programming that contribute to Bronx communities by providing opportunities for the public to experience and engage with the arts. This initiative is geared to organizations with annual budgets under $100,000 for two of the last three years and independent artists who are unaffiliated. This grant will only support projects that demonstrate a community/public benefit in the Bronx. ccc Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) is seeking submissions from Bronx arts organizations and artists for new public projects that have not taken place due to lack of funds or projects already scheduled for which additional funds would have a significant impact. All organizations must be Bronx-based and cannot be funded by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. Artists may apply directly to the Arts Fund without a conduit. All applicants must be Bronx residents with proof of residency. Proof of residency includes: NYS DMV Driver’s license, NYS DMV Photo ID, current utility bill with artists name, or current phone bill with artist name. ccc Grants range: Minimum request amount is $1,000 and maximum request cannot exceed $5,000. Attendance to at least one “How-to-Apply” session required for all applicants! Deadline for online submissions for the Arts Fund Grant is 11:59pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Projects must begin no earlier than February 2015 and be completed no later than December 31, 2015. All projects — Presenting, Performances, Exhibitions, Film/Video Series, Workshops, Classes, etc. — must be fully public in nature and take place at a Bronx site.
