Help us celebrate International Human Rights Day tonight from 7–9 PM with a special workshop called Studio Squared: Portraiture and the Black, Male BodyThe program will begin with a brief tour of Titus Kaphar: The Jerome Project, followed by a figure drawing class lead by teaching artist Mario Moore. A store favorite this season is the MZ Wallace x Glenn Ligon metro tote! Showcasing an iconic work of art by artist Glenn Ligion and 100% of proceeds directly supporting Education programs at the Studio Museum, this limited edition tote seamlessly merges fashion, art and philanthropy! Give the gift that gives back this holiday season! Shop in our Museum Store or online at mzwallace.com before they run out!
With your purchase of an MZ Wallace x Glenn Ligon tote, our youth and teen education programs can continue to thrive! A new initiative we are proud to launch is Middle School Mondays, which provides educational gallery tours at no cost for public middle school student groups throughout the 2014-15 academic year! To schedule a tour, please contact the Education department at 212-864-4500 x258, or tours@studiomuseum.org.
